Progress Report 1
I remember the excitement of my first Progress Report of 2010. The excitement is the same this year but on a completely different level! Again, I’m excited about the potential of a whole new year, the prospect of expanding my horizons and experiencing new things, and also sharing in Row’s journey and helping where I can. 2011 is so different, though, in that I now have so many others who are joining in the journey. It puts Her RESOLUTION on an entirely different playing field!
So, without further ado, my first Progress Report of 2011.
Last week was a fabulous first week. I accomplished everything on my list for last week. I mucked out the chicken coop and even got a light hooked up in there, with hubby’s help. Hopefully we’ll start getting eggs again. I put all of the Christmas decorations back in the attic, caught up on laundry and dishes, made a menu plan for the next 10 days, and got a debit card for my new checking account. (Changing banks is a pain!)
I’m now more than half way through The Element. The book is fabulous! It really takes your whole way of thinking, twists it around, and throws it back in your face. It’s not a long book but it’s taking me a bit to get through it because I have to read it in bite-size chunks. There’s so much to digest.
I also got back onto Calorie Count and started logging my weight and foods. I’m down 1 pound for the month. Just one more to go for the month. Not too worried about it considering we start a 10 day fast (1 meal a day) next Monday. It’s not the best way to lose weight, but I’m confident that I can keep at least one more pound off.
This week I will:
- Make healthy meals every day
- Go to “Christmas” party for SS staff
- Work
- Review new household budget
- Finish The Element
- Clean my bedroom
