Progress Program
- Create a RESOLUTION List of 10 things from the list of categories. The categories (listed below) are just a suggestion of areas that you may want to improve on. Your choices may fit under more than one category. This is just a guide.
- Find a RESOLUTION Sister for accountability. This is someone that will share in your victories and help you with encouragement. You will do the same for her!
- Pick a Progress Project. This is not necessary but very helpful! Pick a small project (it doesn’t have to be from your list) to work on right away. This should be something that you can finish in a day or two. The sense of accomplishment will give you the push you need to gain momentum for your RESOLUTION List.
- Create a journal that is public to your RESOLUTION Sister and anyone else you want. Start your own thread on the Her RESOLUTION forums under the RESOLUTION List forum. Other HR members will be able to follow your progress and post encouraging comments. Free blogging sites are also an option.
- Post to your journal weekly. Take small steps toward your RESOLUTION List goals. List things you have accomplished as well as things you need to do the coming week. If you miss a week, don’t beat yourself up. Life happens. However, don’t make it a habit! The weekly posts are more beneficial to you than anyone else.
- Prod your RESOLUTION Sister if she forgets to post. Encourage each other! She’s counting on you, just like you are counting on her for encouragement and support.
- At 6 months, review your list, make changes, re-prioritize. Some things may become obsolete by then. Replace them with new things. Cross items off if you have accomplished them.
